Sledding

Just for me. I love watching babies grab their little feet

Coen can now get on his hands and knees and rock. He may actually crawl (unlike his brother)! Also, you can hear Fintan say how happy and cute Coen is. I love it.

Coen can also sit, but he will only do it in front of this toy.

He'd rather be rolling or standing. He's practically a full grown boy now!

I needed him

From Fintan at breakfast this morning:

"Hi, Coen! Good morning, Coen!"

"Coen's so tiny. He's so cute. He's so sweet."

"I love Coen. I needed him."


(Fintan has never said "I needed him" before. Eyes prickled and tears sprung. My day is made.)

Milestone

Coen rolled from his back to his belly for the first time today! Fintan was sitting in his chair, eating, and again he was the only one to see him do it. I saw him only after he'd finished rolling. So Coen only likes to show off for his big brother and why wouldn't he? I overheard Fintan saying this to him earlier in the day:

"Do you love your big brother, Coen? Do you love your big brother? Well he loves you, too."

Awwwwwww.

Fintan, in his booster seat, held out slimy, post-lunch hands to his baby brother who was sitting on my lap and said sweetly, "C'mere, Coen".
